For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. Course includes instruction in basic life support, rhythm recognition, airway management, related pharmacology, recognition and management of cardiac arrest and pre-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia and tachycardia. The ACLS full course is appropriate for individuals who have never taken ACLS before or those whose certifications have lapsed or expired. Approximate class time is 8 hours.
