The Heartsaver CPR AED First Aid course trains participants to give CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The Heartsaver First Aid Course trains participants in first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course is NOT appropriate for healthcare providers, but is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR AED First Aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Class length is approx 5 hours.
The AHA requires to have the current textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one here. Please choose from the following optional items:
